1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IBYOK ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IBYOK is a secure key management service that allows users to store, manage, and retrieve API keys for various Large Language Model (LLM) providers. The Service includes encrypted storage, access token management, and a REST API for programmatic access.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must sign in using a valid GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and any access tokens you create within IBYOK. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Store API keys that you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to store sensitive personal data other than API keys
  • Share your access tokens with unauthorized parties
  • Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated or abusive means

5. API Keys and Security

You are solely responsible for the API keys you store in IBYOK. You represent that you have the right to use and store any API keys you add to the Service. While we implement strong security measures, you acknowledge that no system is completely secure and you use the Service at your own risk.

6. Service Tiers and Billing

The Service is offered in multiple tiers with different usage limits and features:

  • Free: 500 API calls/month, 5 stored keys
  • Starter: 10,000 API calls/month, 25 stored keys
  • Premium: 100,000 API calls/month, unlimited keys

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused API calls.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by IBYOK and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any API keys and data you store in the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IBYOK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IBYOK and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
